The Mill, Main Street, Celbridge has for twenty years, provided a centre for sport, leisure, education and small businesses for the growing population of Celbridge.

CELBRIDGE COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Celbridge Community Council meets once a month at The Mill, Main Street, Celbridge. The membership is drawn from the Celbridge area and is renewed every two years. Elections were held in April 2010. At present there are 23 active members who are also involved in various sub-committees.

These sub-committees together with the full membership and Executive Committee carry out the work of the Council.

The following sub-committees are in operation at present:-

(c)Youth Facilities / Youth Cafe
(d)Events / Fundraising
(e)Planning & Development
(f)Public Relations


The Executive Committee is involved in promoting Town Council Status for Celbridge. Over many years meetings have been held with the relevant Government Ministers of the Environment, but this project is ongoing.
